No basta juzgar lo que se ha de hacer o dejar de hacer, sino permanecer firme y constante en lo que se ha juzgado. Muchos que no pueden mantenerse fieles a lo que determinaron, vencidos y debilitados por una sombre de deleite, se entregaron al dominio de ...la liviandad, y no prevén lo futuro; y de este modo, por causa de un deleite pequeño y no necesario, que podrían adquirir de otro modo, o del cual podría carecer sin dolor, caen en enfermedades graves, o en daños y deshonras, o quedan sujetos del juicio y de las leyes.
